Postpartum Doula

I am a wife and mother to my son and daughter who are 10 and 6.

I love being around families and believe in the power of children.  I also know the transition time of bringing a new baby into the home can be exciting and challenging.  As a care giver, I understand the importance of making this time special and hopefully less stressful.

The care that I like to emphasize is to really find out what your needs and requests are and to seamlessly slide into a support role that matches your family values.

My skills include postpartum care, nutrition recommendations for mother and baby and to help families adjust to a new member of the family.  In addition, I can provide household duties including preparing meals, organizing spaces in the home, light housework and other support services.

My experience includes in-home child care primarily for preschoolers both part and full time over the past 8 years.  I was a playroom teacher for infants through 12 year olds at a fitness center for 2 years.  When my children were infants, I participated in La Leche League of Colorado, a support group for breastfeeding.  My passion is new mothers and babies and helping them get a good start in life. I am certified in CPR.
