Birth Doulas serve the birthing family during the prenatal period and throughout the labor and birth of their baby. We offer emotional support, informational guidance, and suggestions for physical comfort while attending the birthing mother in support of her personal birth goals. Whether you are planning a natural birth, birth with an epidural, or are scheduling a cesarean, we are here to support and encourage you! Our doulas serve families birthing in homes, hospitals and birth centers across the Denver Metro area.
The With Women On-call Birth Doula Program offers gentle, non-judgmental support to all birthing families at certain hospitals. Currently we serve Denver Health, Exempla Lutheran Medical Center, Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center (P/SL), Boulder Community, University of Colorado Hospital, Good Samaritan Medical Center and Saint Joseph Hospital.
The With Women education team offers individualized independent classes to families in the areas of childbirth preparation, breastfeeding support, VBAC classes, sibling preparation and more. Private and group classes are available. If we cannot support you in the classes or services that you seek, we will help you find someone who can!
Postpartum Doulas serve the new family in their homes as they welcome their newborn baby or babies. We have come to learn that good support during the first weeks makes all the difference in the months and years to come. We provide practical support such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, and running household errands. We assist the new family with feeding support, opportunities for parents to rest, and offer guidance on baby care, sibling care, first outings with the new baby and much more. Our First Weeks program is a great way to get the support, advice, and resources needed get you on the best path for healthy living.
