As a labor and birth doula I will meet with you for prenatal and postpartum visits and attend you during your labor and birth. I have truly enjoyed every birth that I have attended and I will bring my passion to your birth while helping you with any questions that you may have about the process.
My passion is to focus on you and attend to you in whatever way you need. While people are focusing on the upcoming arrival of your baby, I will be focusing on you; helping you get through every contraction and every emotion one at a time. Having a bachelor's degree in Social Work, I am attentive and understanding of your physical as well as emotional needs. I am very happy to support any partner that you bring with you so that they can be rested and encouraged and able to fully focus on you! My services include:
~ Interview plus 2-3 prenatal visits including:
• Education and information
• Birth plan preparation
• Relaxation and positioning practice
• Resources and referrals
~ Continuous doula support during labor and birth
~ 24/7 Phone and email support
~ 2 post partum visits. 1 visit the day after the birth in the hospital and one home visit at your convenience.
~ Attendance at a medical prenatal visit, facility tour, childbirth class or group.
Labor is a lot of work and having an extra set of hands is incredibly important. I guarantee that you and your partner will feel supported and confident when having me as your doula.
