Why I do this work:
~ I believe that the birth of every new family is a true blessing and a time for peaceful support, compassion and encouragement.
~ I believe that every family can benefit from a sense of calm and reassurance during a time of uncertainty.
~ I believe the transition into parenthood deserves patience, respect for ones own judgment and a quiet trust in our innate abilities to bond.
~ I have a wish for all new parents that they enjoy a fascination with their new world.
Experience in Postpartum:
Familiar with this wonderful, special time, I know that it can at times feel overwhelming. Giving birth at home to my daughter in 2006, was an incredible experience for myself and my family. Caring for and parenting my daughter through the fourth trimester, has helped me to fully understand how exciting and difficult the adjustment can be. I have a history of caring for families and have personal as well as professional experience during the postpartum period. I am excited to continue to work with and nurture families during this precious time.
